eTwinning and Our Heritage:
Where the Past Meets the Future
17th of May was significant for all the students, parents and teachers in our school since the celebration of the Erasmus+ Day. The celebration began with the show during which we have summed up the first year of the project and the cooperation with partner countries including Italy, Romania, Norway and Iceland.
Both younger and older students performed the Italian- English version of ”Golidlocks and the Three Bears” story by the British author Robert Southey. Together with their teachers, parents and students cooked the traditional dishes of above mentioned countries and studied some interesting facts about them. Not forgetting Polish traditions, younger students have learned how to dance our traditional ”Trojak”.
At the end of the festive day, the whole school community gathered to dance ”Happy Dance”, which is the anthem of Traces of Europe project.
It was a good day!
